Seminar (online): Should digital rights be collective rights in the platform economy?
Experiences from collective bargaining on employee rights and algorithmic management in Denmark
In this online seminar, Anna Ilsøe, Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen and Natalie Munkholm Videbæk, Associate Professor from Aarhus University will share their insights about the creation of the Hilfr2 agreement. This
is a landmark example of collective bargaining for digital rights in the platform economy.
The Danish cleaning platform Hilfr and union 3F have agreed on three important changes to the employment agreement: Employee Status, Digital Union Club and Advanced rules on AI and algorithmic management. How did this agreement
come about? In what way could we learn from the Hilfr2 agreement for our Dutch context?
After the presentation of Anna Ilsøe and Natalie Munkholm Videbæk we would like to take some time to discuss this. This online seminar is valuable for everyone interested in future-proofing work in a digital world and platform economy, for instance unions, employers, platform companies, governmental institutions and platform workers. The presentation will be in in English.
